Is the listing really free?
Yes. Listing on the BarristerGram directory is completely free. There is no sign-up fee, renewal fee or commission on your professional fees.
Why do you need my Bar Council ID card?
To protect clients, we list only advocates whose enrolment we can verify. Your ID card is stored privately, used only for verification and never shown on your public profile.
How long does verification take?
Most applications are verified within 48 hours. If anything on the ID card is unclear, our team will contact you.
Is a directory listing allowed under BCI rules?
The directory shows factual information such as your name, enrolment, courts and areas of practice, the kind of details Rule 36 of the BCI Rules permits advocates to share. We don't publish rankings, paid promotions or solicitations on your behalf.
Can I edit or remove my profile later?
Yes. Once approved, you can add courts, practice areas, experience and a biography from My Account, or ask us to remove your profile at any time.
